Nevada small claims cases are filed in Justice Court, and each county uses its own current forms. Nevada has no single mandated statewide small claims complaint form. NRS Chapter 73 sets the substantive procedure but does not prescribe a form. In the Eighth Judicial District (Clark County), the Civil Law Self-Help Center — a self-help resource for self-represented litigants operated inside the Regional Justice Center and linked from the official Nevada Judiciary site (nvcourts.gov) — publishes the Small Claims Complaint (a sworn affidavit of complaint that doubles as the Order to Appear/summons) used at Clark County's township justice courts, with separate versions for Henderson and North Las Vegas Townships. Other Nevada counties' justice courts publish their own versions through their own self-help resources.
